Loading & Offloading location data for future use
My intention with this BackCountry Navigator software was to build a container database of destinations consisting of map tiles, waypoints, tracks, and notes. If, say, I go to Yosemite I want to be able to upload all data pertaining to Yosemite to my data repository after I return home. At some time in the future when I return to Yosemite and I would download everything about Yosemite onto the mSDXC card and then access, modify, and add to it. Upon my return home I would then replace the original Yosemite repository data with the new data from the phone. Ultimately I would have a library of locations that I could always download to my phone prior to a subsequent visit. However, it appears that all data is merged together under BCNAV; that is, map folders do not correspond to data folders. Trip data lists separate titles but it is still mixed together under BCNAV data path.
After researching this matter on the crittermaps website, I have found no topics related to my goal. However I wonder if changing the data path below BCNAV might accomplish it i.e., BCNAV\Yosemite\, BCNAV\Yellowstone, etc. This would solve the problem of multiple destinations on a single trip, however it seems like an awkward and potentially error-prone way to get there - any other suggestions?

Hi,
Not sure if you meant you're removing the SD card when you go on a trip? Then you want the data you have on your phone be transferred to the SD card once you insert it? Or do you plan to swap SD cards?
Thanks,
dan
