Can someone give me simple steps in downloading maps of an area I want to roam.  Right now I select Place and then enter coordinates and I get half circles with a line through it.  I guess I'm supposed to then go tothe map layer and highlight an area and select download.  I assume that I would save this under a map name and continue downloading the area I'm interested in, and saving to the map name.  Just simple 1,2,3 steps would be helpful because help manual doesn't make sense.

  Hi Harvey,

   

  You mean THIS MANUAL (section 3 - Preparing for offline use)

  I would still be using those steps in the manual as it's the most least confusing.

   

  ** After you select an area/coordinates - click the Map Layers menu > at the bottom there's select areas for download. > using your fingers, select the amount of region you want to download then when you're done selecting at the top, there's a download folder icon. I suggest you download at the MAX zoom level and Save it to a new map folder (or an existing map folder if you've already created one and want to add additional tiles)
