unwanted notifications

Whenever I open, look at or input to BCN, I get a notification alert (very intrusive on a quiet mountain trail). Turned off in BCN Settings, but still happening. Any solutions other than turning phone off?

  Hi John,

  Thanks for reaching out.

   

  Can you go to Android Settings > Applications > Application Manager > BCNAV - there should be a setting there for notifications for the app.
