screen scrolling

 I use my maps for off roading.  While following a track the icon will go off screen.  Is there a way to keep the icon in the center of the map and have the map move around automatically?  Right now I have to continually use my fingers to scroll the screen to find my icon/location.  Frustrating to do while driving.
