deleting items from Place or Coordinate list

I currently have 9 items visible in this list. I cannot see any new items that I enter, though it does centre the display at the correct place. How can I delete unwanted items? How can I scroll down to see later entries?

    Chris, If I understand you correctly, you can highlight the entire list using the dotted-square icon in the top bar menu, then de-select the items you want to keep by tapping each one and then use the 3-dot pull-down menu to select Delete. All the items that were highlighted will be deleted. I have had to do this a few times when I mis-copied waypoints to the wrong zone. It's a bit tedious but it gets the job done. I am not sure about the scrolling to see the later entries. Is your coordinate list sorted in some way? Mine is usually sorted by alpha-numeric as a default and I have never changed that.

    Jay Mackey, I am stuck right at the beginning of your comment. I can't find the "dotted square icon in the top bar menu". Could you spell out how to find it, please. I obviously have quite a way to go on the learning curve! Though even with my limited know-how I am impressed with the app.

    Hi Chris, sorry for the delayed response, been doing a lot of hiking this week. When I am on a trip database that I have selected and then tap "List Tracks & Waypoints", I see a list of way points with a green bar menu at the top of the screen. On this bar menu there are 7 chooses: from left to right, a Left-arrow, a "List", a Magnify symbol, a waypoint symbol, a sort symbol, a "dotted-square" symbol and the 3-dot pull-down menu at the far right side. If you tap on the "dotted-square" symbol, all the way points in the list will be highlighted. From here, you can de-select the items that you want to keep, then tap the "Garbage Can" symbol to delete-all . All the highlighted items will be gone. I am using BCN-Pro, version 6.8.3 on a Samsung S9 smartphone. If you can't see the screen that I am describing, I am not sure what to say. I hope this has been helpful.
