Associate audio file with waypoint

I build a lot of trail maps and while I am doing that.

I set a waypoint at a particular feature and then capture a photograph. That is easily done in this program.

What I would like to add the ability to also save an audio file recorded on my phone so that I can update details of the site to later update the trail map around that waypoint.

Today I have to take both a still picture and also a movie with my voice in the background to accomplish this.

  I'd like to be able to hear a narration, for example the Mojave Rd. Guide book and associate the audio with the way point for listening while driving the trail
