Waypoint details display
CompletedWhen working with large sets of waypoints, easier access to waypoint details from the maps screen would increase user efficiency. Rather than requiring a user to navigate to the "LIST" screen and scroll to their desired waypoint (which may or may not be near your "cross-hairs"), it would be helpful if a user were able to tap or long hold a waypoint on the map screen and be presented with either a "bubble" presenting the waypoint details, or a context menu which allows a user to open the details view of the waypoint (or any other waypoint function).

THIS! In the meantime, having the points display in the List in the order that they are in the GPX file would make the List function more helpful.

You can Tap and Hold and get a waypoint bubble.
You have to go to settings and enable Long Press in Display settings. So few people ever found "Tap and hold" on their own, except by accident, that this is off by default.
Also pushing the [+] button on the left will bring up this menu, but only for points near the crosshair.
I was tempted to mark this request as done, but I will let you try it and comment first.

This is great. I knew "Tap and Hold" for creating waypoints, but not for viewing details. This is what I was looking for.
If you were to ever update the bubble to include the details, or a view only version of the waypoint details (vs.edit view) that would make a big difference. I use this app a lot for viewing aviation sectionals with waypoints containing airport locations and details (some details with urls).
As far as this request goes, I consider the functionality I was looking for to already be there.
Thanks for such a great app.0 -
Super! That is very helpful. I've been playing with this app all morning and I have a few more comments / questions regarding importing and working with GPX files. Where should I post them?
