Use it to provide search results. 

Display them on the map if desired.

  Okay, I could use some help with this.  I downloaded places from the search option for the UK.  When I turned them off, I was left with pink tiles all over the map where the place names would have been! So I initially deleted the files in the 'Places' folder.  This removed the pink tiles.  I then tried the search option again and nothing happens - no option to download place names for my selected country.  So I un-installed BCN and manually deleted the BCN folder.  Re-installed and still nothing.  Any suggestions?
