Repositional Scale.
Hi,
I'm an archaeologist. I use your app all day long to check and mark my location while doing cultural resource surveys for the military. The maps we're provided for our surveys often include difficulty shaped survey boundaries, and your app has several times kept my team from under or over-surveying an area.
What I would really love to see is a repositional scale. To measure any distance aside from east-west (which is almost always the case), I have to stop and create a paper scale, then pull out my protractor to place the scale at the proper angle. I wish there was simply a way to long click on the scale and receive a menu for adjusting the scale by degrees (for instance, this past week we were surveying at 250°). Would this change ever be possible?
Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!

Because it's very common for us to run transects at the same angle (say, that 250° I mentioned above) for weeks at a time in any given area, the rotating scale would be most valuable to me. I could simply open a "scale menu" or some such, and either type in the degree I want it to display at, or select the degree from a drop-down menu. Then every time I pulled out my phone to check the map, I'd be able to quickly judge the distance remaining on my transect, estimate total transect lengths, etc. Also, on the less frequent occasions that I needed to estimate the number of transects for an area (as opposed to the number of points on a single transect), I could quickly switch the angle to do so.
I believe the ability to adjust the angle of the scale would be the most valuable option (out of those mentioned above) for how I use the app.
