draw trail
CompletedI don't know if you have ever used Topo!, but on that program I can select the route tool and draw a trail. Is there anyway this can be done on Backcountry navigator and save that to my dowloaded maps? I've tried to find a solution on the forum but was unsuccessful.
Thanks,
Jon Rasmussen

We are working on something for this.
In the meantime, if you can draw with desktop tools, it can import tracks in GPX.

I would like to see the "Create Path" feature that was available in the Windows Mobile version of BN. Thanks.

It's already done. You can push the [+} button, then push measure. Create a route and save it.

Thanks! I didn't see this in the User Guide. Are there any other features not mentioned in the User Guide? I checked the Tips and Tricks forum. Is there a better place to look?

I guess I don't understand. Where is the + button and the measure option? Also, a way to just draw a trail (line) on the map would be OUTSTANDING!!

There is a whole page about it now.
There is a whole topic on it now.

What do you see on the left hand side middle of your screen? It's what you push when you mark waypoints.
It's probably a good idea to review the new manuals.

Hummm.... That's the "+ button" I thot you meant, but I never noticed the measure thing that dropped down from the upper left. It's very faint on my Xoom. Anyway, making and measuring points and the route works great and is pretty handy. But, how do I delete the routes so they aren't on my map all the time. I can't find them listed anywhere.

They are listed as tracks on the list screen.
