  Glad to hear about it. I bought this app a while ago, and although I find it very useful, it cannot really be used for Search and Rescue without the ability to set the datum to nav27 conus. The waypoint features and UTM combined with Nav27 will make this a great tool for SAR once it is updated.

  It is good for calling in our helicopter, as they use lat/lon wgs that matches your program.

  I will be doing a class this summer on cell phone apps for SAR, hopefully it gets updated by then so I can include this in my recommended apps. As is, this app would put them up to 200 meters off.  Saying it is good for SAR right now could be life threatening.  If I sent out a team to cover an area, and they missed it by two football fields....

   

  To sum it up, I absolutely love the program, but listing it as good for SAR is bad until you can set the datum.  At minimum you should have the datum listed so folks would know they would need to convert it.
