We will be asking for crowdfunding support for the next version of BackCountry Navigator, which will run on iPhone.
The reality is it will probably not happen if the crowdfunding is not successful.
Me too. I've had to change to an iPhone now so have lost BCN (disappointing not because I paid for it but because I do not feel iPhone offerings are as good as BCN). I do find the iPhone far better than my Android but would love BCN on it.
As I need to purchase an iPhone app soon and maps are expensive so once purchased it is a long term decision - if CritterMap are developing or planning to develop a version for iPhone, letting us know would be great (as we would not go an commit to a different system).
Any response from the BCN folks about this yet? I'm just curious to know if compatibility with iphone is even in the works or not or if BCN is sticking to Android and other platforms. There is nothing out there like BCN...I'd pay much more than the Android price to get it on my iphone.
just switched from the Cat B15 smartphone to my iphone 5s. would like to know when i can have my maps back *tears*
If you want to help us prioritize, take this survey. It only has about 16 response so far.
So how are we looking for getting this available for an IOS device now?
Yes, what is the answer. Have you made any decisions about the IOS software yet?
Me too! Any decision on building an software for an IOS device?
It's me again. It's been 3 years but I'm checking back. I'm still looking to take advantage of my BackCountry Navigator Pro with Accutera subscription to get the best, topgraphical maps on my ios device. I can't wait. There was no substitute for these two powerful apps combined. We are at your mercy. If you meet Apples guidelines against fraud and spam-type applications, what's the problem with having them approve your app?? I am still using my apple iphone 5 se, and want this app.
Same here! I would still like to have it on an iphone!
Same boat...I filled out the Survey...I emailed the Help Desk...but not having this App for iPhones is a shame. Would love it.
