It is really a pain to copy coordinates manually.  Please enable export as you do with tracks.

Trip Data -Share Trip Data exports ALL waypoints and all tracks in a trip.

Exporting ALL waypoints and tracks at one time is not the greatest way to export a few waypoints, but it is better than doing them manually.  I will export the entire file, then copy and paste only the waypoints I am interested in.  Thanks for the answer, Nathan.

I agree with that....should be able to choose what to export. Should not be listed as "share"....does not make sense to me.

I agree, there should be better option/s for waypoint export/sharing.
I should be able to select the wp's to export. Also, there should be a option to move a wp from one trip to another. Cause you forget to start a new trip.

    I agree,

    Share is not export,

Many of us don't wan't to share, they want some privacy,

    Hi

I want to share/export the trip with waypoints and photos associated with them. How can I do this?

    Thanks

    Export it as KMZ.

If you can export tracks (a list of waypoints) you should be able to export a single Waypoint. When will this feature be added?

Tracks can be exported individually because they can't be duplicated on the receiving end as easily as a waypoint can. Setting a single waypoint manually on an application like Google Earth may be easier than going through the export process.

However, if you still wish to export a single waypoint (or a subset of tracks and waypoints from a trip database), a temporary trip database should be created to store this information. Then open the track/waypoint list and click on each of the waypoints and tracks you want copied into the new trip database. Use the "Copy to" command on the track or waypoint screen. Then choose this database in the Trip Data menu, and export it with Trip Data -> Share.

What I did was export all the points as a gpx file, choose "Share file", and then email the file to myself. I was able to open the gpx file in Excel, which was very handy. Yes the "share" description is misleading - it just means sending a copy of the data somewhere else.

The "Share" description implies sending a copy of the data to someone else. "Export" might be a better word in this case, since it means sending a copy of the data somewhere else, including your email inbox.
