coordinates snapping?
I found coordinates on Google Earth that I want to find, converted the coordinates to the format I want to use, and entered them in "find a place" within BCN. It's somewhat close (within 1000 yards or so), but it seems to be "snapping" to a nearby track that I recorded. The coordinate that BCN goes to is NOT the coordinate that I entered.
Any ideas as to why it's doing this and how I go about correcting it? I've started using the USGS Topo Maps (instead of the old MyTopo.com) and it's working fine, but I can't seem to use USGS Color Aerials any more? I thought about trying to find the location with the aerials, but that didn't work as they don't show up any more...
Help?

Sorry for missing this question.
I think you want to enter your coordinates as a waypoint for now. Push the [+} button and change the coordinate to what you want, then choose center.
The Place search goes through Google, and I am not sure what they are doing with the coordinates.

As of 4.3.6, we intercept coordinates in the place search and don't send them to Google Place search.
