How to show tracks on map?

I've started having the same problem. I've only been trialing this for a few days and have done 3 walks so far. The first (Dec 22) worked fine and still shows the track ok on the map. I think there was an upgrade between that and my next walk (Dec 24). I stored the second track in the same trip file as the first and that doesn't shown on the map, though I can see the details, graphs and waypoints. For the third walk (Dec 25) I created a new trip file but the result is the same as the second. Something appears to have been broken my the upgrade. I also find that the trip durations are all an hour too long, though the other stats look ok. I'm in the uk using OS maps in a Galaxy Nexus (ICS).

I am seeing the same thing on the trial. I downloaded it this AM to check it out on a snowshoe trip. I downloaded topo map for the area. I recorded a track on the "default" trip. I could see it when I checked at the halfway point. I stopped the recording at the car and checked it at home. I cannot see the track on the topo map. The track shows up under default trip. I can see details, elevation graph, etc., but it doesn't show on the map. I don't know if this is a bug or I don't know how to use the thing, but for now I'm disappointed. I'd like to be able to see where I went on the topo map. Would appreciate help to understand what's going on. (Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Gingerbread Android)

Having the same problem -- I've recorded two tracks the past couple of days.  I can see them while I'm recording them, but once I stop, they disappear.  They're still in there, in that I can export them as a GPX file and open them in other software (I can also see them listed when I open the list of tracks in the trip folder), but I cannot make them show up in the app itself. (HTC EVO 4G)

I found if you export as GPX and import back into BCNav the track then shows up. I created a new trip file and imported into that.

You can also import the GPX back into the same trip file. The track will then be listed twice and the second one shows up on the map. You can delete the first and the trip file then looks ok.

I also have this problem on the Droid Razr. The work-aroind listed above.works, but I would also like to see all the details that are shown in the trip computer. While I'm recording.recording

The problem you are mentioning is a bug that was in version 4.3.2, and was fixed in 4.3.4. You will not always have to export and reimport.

I am very sorry for our mistake.

How do you check which version you have installed, for I can't seem to get a recorded track to show back up again either and I wanted to follow the track back out of the bush.

i seriously doubt you have a two year old limited time version, but go to Google Play, find My Apps in the menu, and see if there is an update available for BackCountry Navigator.

Anyone found a fix for this problem? My recorded track yesterday shows only part of my hike and all trip data is missing. How do I get track and data back?

I've been having this problem on Version 5.6.0, on my Android Verizon Moto X 2nd gen. Too bad, because this app has I think the best set of maps available, plus the ability to show previous tracks on the same screen you're recording a new track on. Unless this gets fixed I've got to give it up.
