As of 3.9.9, there is an option to change the storage root in settings.
Android has a way to specify an External Storage Directory. For most devices this is a storage card; for some this is actually internal storage (which means the device is lying).
However, there is no standard for any other storage paths. You may need to use something like Astro Explorer to discover the true path
If you have successfully changed this, please post here the path that you used and the model of your phone.
If you have tried, please post the path here that you have tried and the model of your device.
If you cannot find the storage path you want with Astro Explorer, BCN probably can't find it either. Even if you can find it, it may not be writeable by an app.
If you have to root your phone to use a particular path, that path is not one I recommend.
