Can I download the maps for an entire state?

I'd use OpenStreetMaps as a preview, because you can zoom out farther, then draw a box around the state.

Also, back off on the max zoom.

At level 15, it won't fit on your storage card. It will be about 90 gigabytes.

At level 13, it might be about 10 gigabytes.

Thanks for the OpenStreetMaps suggestion.  I'm not 100% sure how to use StreetMaps to download the maps for BCN on my Droid 2.  Will StreetMaps show me me coordinates that I can plug into BCN to specify the download area?

    Thanks.

You don't have to plug in coordinates to specify the download area. Just draw boxes.

Have you done any downloads yet? I recommend this guide.

Sorry, I was confused.  I didn't realize that OpenStreetMaps was a map source option from within BCN (I was looking under the US & Canada section instead of the Worldwide section).  I understand now, thanks.

I just stumbled upon this while searching for info on downloading maps from my computer and then transferring them to my Droid.

Can that be done? Is there a way to download maps on my main system and then import them into BackCountry Nav Pro?

    Many Thanks and Happy Holidays!
