THE GOTO FUNCTION (in Waypoints)
First, open the Waypoint of your choice or waypoint of interest by clicking the Trip Data icon as highlighted below.
EASY ACCESS METHOD
Click on the upper left corner where, by default it would say "MAP" (this is the current screen being displayed), and then choose "LIST" - this will list your nearest waypoints / tracks relative to your current location.
Switch between tracks and waypoints
Clicking on the SORT icon, will bring out a pop-up which will enable the end-user to sort the Waypoints or Tracks (depending on current tab chosen)
LONG METHOD
Click on Trip Data;
Then click <Trip Name> Has X waypoints and X Tracks - assuming you have selected the correct trip file; this will take you to the Waypoints/Tracks menu (Click here for more information on creating TRIP Files)
When the Waypoints window open, click on the waypoint you particularly want to access
After you click a certain waypoint, a new menu will pop up as illustrated below (LOCATION Services like GPS are necessary for the feature to properly function)
Then click on the GOTO icon .
GOTO > MAP
When you click the MAP icon on the upper left side of the application, it will show your current location in reference to the waypoint. This will visually tell you how far you are from that waypoint.
GOTO > NAV (Compass)
This page will show you your distance relative to that specific waypoint, and on which direction you are facing relative to the Waypoint.
**For your screen to lineup with the waypoint; got to Menu > Settings > Compass and Bearing Options > Choose Rotation Direction > Compass
GOTO > LIST
Will simply list other existing waypoints / tracks on your loaded trip.
GOTO > STAT
This page will show you relavant details of your current location relative to the waypoint. It includes your distance from current location against the waypoint, your direction, distance you traveled and more.
